Hi!  Welcome to Mrs. Manly's Pre-K Class!

 

I am very honored to have been chosen to be apart of your child's first year of school-it is a time of many new experiences and lots of fun.  My goal is to create a love of learning, a questioning spirit, and an accepting heart in each of my students.  I feel that these three things will carry them far on their journey through life.  

 

As you know the educational expectations for our students are high-even in Pre-K.  I want to share with you what will be expected of your child.  Below are some of our major goals that we will be working towards this school year:

* Writing and Identifying our first name

* Identifying Colors and Shapes

* Identifying Letters and Sounds

* Counting and Identifying #'s 1-10

 

We will also be working on fine motor skills, social skills, and exploring the world using our five senses.
